Suzy: Welcome Randy to ESPNEWS
Randy: Thanks
Suzy: Well Randy lets get right to it, after a less than impressive season in your debut season with the Raiders
what do you plan to change?
Randy: Uhh, well last season I disapointed not only the fans, but myself. Basically I gotta try to run my routs better
and try to get open. I wasnt myself 100% physically last year, but now im feeling fine.
Suzy: How do you feel about Norv's decision to sign Ricky Williams?
Randy: Im not sure..i mean the guy was taking drugs, but hes on our team now and we got to respect him. But im
not sure with Norvs decision to put him as a starter. Lamont had over 1400 rushing yards last season.
Suzy: Reflect on your last season stats for us
Randy: Last season i went into the endzone 5 times and I had just over 1000 recieving yards, uhh i was disapointed
with myself and physically I was weak!
Suzy: Who do you think will be the most improved player for the Raiders?
Randy: I gotta say Danny Clark.. the guys a great tackler and hes very determined. I've seen this guy come to practice
early and stay longer than us too. He has had decent stats throughout his career and hes been underestimated.
Suzy: Who would you like to see win the starting job at the quarterback position?
Randy: ...Probably Kerry, Brady is young and he still needs to start understanding the game of football, Kerry
has much more experiance and he has the better feel for the game to say. I think that will aslo benifit Brady aswell then
he gets to see what Kerry does.
Suzy: Randy can you predict the record for the Raiders at the end of the season?
Randy: Hopefully we can get to 8-8, but im hoping for a wildcard birth going 10-6.
Suzy: Thank you for your time Randy
Randy: Peace out homie!
